  • I love GOLD, the flexibility of viewing sessions works well for me as I work full l time. The variety of topics from a very global perspective is wonderful, really connecting the world of breastfeeding! We have lots of opportunity to learn additional information as we connect with each other in the forums and chat rooms, kinda like a big global family. Thanks GOLD for enhancing my knowledge and practice to support breastfeeding families. - Diane T.

  • I cried, laughed and breastfed while attending the lectures. I loved the conference! It gave me the strength to counsel more moms in difficult cases. As a mother I have more confidence to continue to breastfeeding, my goal before the conference was one year at most but now I'll work my way through the second year too! I feel empowered, I have the knowledge and the information to help me support and guid moms, and share with other counselors. I'm motivated to do my own breastfeeding research in my country. I just LOVED it, it was great!- Afnan A.

  • Just starting the certification process and so happy to have a program that utilizes technology to broaden our scope and allow for variable schedules! I'll be attending while my littles are away or at nap times. Also have a few local pals registered and we plan to watch and discuss together for a couple live presentations! - Jessica C.

  • I like that I am half a world away (from nearly every presenter) and still learning in the comfort of my own recliner in my home from experts in the field. I look forward to expanding my knowledge to better support families in low resource areas, where I am currently working. - Dayna H.

  • "Guten tag" and hello from Germany! This is my first time attending GOLD and I truly enjoyed Dr. Amy Brown's opening session. She is so inspiring and I can't wait to hear from all of the other speakers. I am an RN, IBCLC currently working as a contractor here in Germany with the Air Force's New Parent Support Program. Mothers and children are my ❤ and I feel so blessed to work here with the military families. I know that GOLD will help prepare me to deliver the GOLDEN standard in breastfeeding education and care. What more could I ask for? Perhaps being able to kick back with my coffee and pj's while learning GOLD info..oh wait...GOLD made that happen too! Happy learning everyone! - Tara C.

  • I'm from Indonesia and it's my second time attending GOLD conference. It was awesome to be able to discuss while the presentation going. Eventhough if I want to watch live, I should be awake at midnight :D So I usually watch live at my bedroom wearing my pyjama, or if I watch recorded version, I like to watch it in cafe. As for the topics, I'm excited to watch all of it, such as Supporting Breastfeeding People in the Legal System, Bridging the Gaps to Provide a Continuum of Care, and of course the Indonesian speaker! - Andini P.

  • Hi from Canada! This is my second GOLD Lactation Conference. I'm an RN, IBCLC. I work in Public Health and have my own Private Practice. I have learned so much from GOLD presentations and apply my new knowledge when helping my clients. I love that I can attend the conference from the comfort of my own home. I usually catch presentations during my toddler's nap time, or when the kids are in bed for the night. - Tara-Jean T.
